Sara Carbonera, a sideline reporter and girlfriend of Spanish goalkeeper Iker Casillas is blamed for distracting goalkeeper and eventually resulting in loss of Spain. Fans of Spanish soccer team accused Sara Carbonera for the very unexpected loss from Switzerland.
Sara Carbonero quickly titled the blame as "nonsense".
Its really disgusting that fans are blaming an innocent girl, who was present on ground for reporting purpose, the sole responsible for the loss instead of evaluating where and what their team missed. But this is not the first time, English goalkeeper Robert Green also faced such blames for goal allowing goal to US.
Anyways this could be better handled by sports psychologists, who believe when the pulse rate goes at peak level for the team, fans can't resist the loss and if team losses and they try to find something,somebody to blame, whether it be parties or girls.
On the other side,media is also in same stand with fans of Spanish team.
Though Spanish media is not happy with such coverage of English media and reported English media is reporting more on Sara Carbonera than match.While English media claims the blame is true to some extent as Sara was present all time behind the goalie and right after the loss of Spain, interviewed Casillas.
